Artificial intelligence

At the Health Sciences Innovation Center, you’ll experience live demonstrations of how AI is transforming diverse areas across the healthcare and life sciences value chain—including drug research, genomics, Industry 4.0 manufacturing processes, doctor–patient interactions, patient outcomes and experiences, patient diagnosis, personalized treatment paths, payer operations and contact center solutions.


Immersive technologies

Extended reality (XR) and mixed reality (MR) technologies are transforming healthcare by seamlessly integrating physical and digital environments. These immersive technologies are increasingly being adopted across R&D simulations, clinical trials, workforce training, surgical planning and assistance, medical imaging and therapeutic applications.

At the Health Sciences Innovation Center, you will see real-world applications of XR and MR in action, from nurse training modules and surgical procedure simulations to immersive therapeutic tools for managing anxiety and chronic pain at home, as well as advanced educational platforms enhancing healthcare learning and skill development.

Robotics

Robots are rapidly acquiring polyfunctional skills—multitasking and performing a variety of tasks with improved human-machine collaboration. These robots continue to evolve to become smaller, more efficient and capable of performing complex tasks autonomously.

At the Health Sciences Innovation Center, you will see how polyfunctional robots are helping envision the “lab of the future”, enabling smart hospital operations and supporting assisted elderly living.

Digital twin adoption is being accelerated by advancements in AI, IoT and cloud computing, and is gaining significant traction across areas such as manufacturing processes and equipment, supply chain, personalized treatment paths and medical diagnosis in healthcare and life sciences.

At the Health Sciences Innovation Center, you will see how digital twin technology can be applied for predictive maintenance of bioreactors, yield forecasting, waste reduction and promoting sustainable processes in liquid formulation systems.

Health IoT
